What you actually receive

A full length pillow, 150 by 50 cm, printed with your image and supplied with the insert already inside it. You unzip nothing, stuff nothing and buy nothing else. That sounds like a small detail and it is the single biggest difference between this listing and most of the ones you will have looked at.

Search this category and the low prices you find are almost always cover only. The cover is the cheap part. A 150 by 50 cm insert is not a size most households already own, it is awkward to ship on its own, and buying one separately usually costs more than the gap between a cover and a complete pillow. You end up paying more, waiting on two deliveries, and hoping the insert firmness matches a cover somebody else cut.

Two fabrics, and the honest answer is that most people should take the cheaper one.

Peach skin

A matte finish with a light brushed nap. Colours read very slightly softer than the file you send. It resists creasing, it does not show every fold when it comes out of a parcel, and it is the fabric to choose for a pillow that gets slept against every night. It is also the less expensive of the two, which is not a coincidence, since it is the workhorse.

2 way tricot

A smoother knit with real stretch and a slight sheen. Colours come out noticeably brighter and the surface is cooler to the touch. The stretch is the technical argument for it. It lets the print sit flat around a filled insert instead of pulling at the seams, which is why detailed artwork holds together better on it. The trade is that it creases more readily and costs more. It is the fabric that gets requested by name in the illustration and dakimakura corner of this market.

The crop is the hard part, not the printing

The print area is three times taller than it is wide. Almost no photograph you own is shaped like that. This is the one genuine design problem in ordering a body pillow and it is where most disappointing results come from.

There are three ways it can go. Stretching the image to fit distorts faces and is never the right answer. Cropping to the centre of a landscape photo throws away most of the frame, usually including whatever made the photo worth using. Building a layout deliberately, with the subject placed along the length and the remaining space handled on purpose, is the version that looks intentional.

So send the tallest version of the image you have. If the only photo you have is landscape, send it anyway and tell us in a sentence what has to stay in frame. We build the layout around that constraint and you see it before anything is charged.

What resolution do you need?

Aim for at least 3000 pixels on the long edge. A modern phone photo clears that comfortably. What does not clear it is a screenshot, a picture forwarded through a messaging app, or an image saved off social media, because each of those has already been compressed. On a cushion you might get away with it. At 150 cm you will not.

How big 150 by 50 cm actually is

Roughly three standard bed pillows laid end to end. About as tall as an average adult sitting upright. That scale is the entire reason this product exists rather than a large cushion, and it is worth picturing before you order, because people are consistently surprised by the parcel.

It is one size for a reason. The standard body pillow insert size is well established, which means the cover fits inserts you can replace later from anywhere. Products built to a non standard size lock you into that one manufacturer for the rest of the pillow's life.

Production time, and why three days is unusual

Three days from the moment you approve the layout. The large marketplaces in this category typically quote seven to ten business days of production before shipping starts, and that is on top of a proofing round. Contract printers in the same space run one to two days but sell mainly to businesses at bulk quantities.

Three days on a single made to order pillow, with a free preview in front of it, is the part of this that is genuinely hard to match. It matters most in November and December, when the difference between three days and three weeks is the difference between a gift arriving and an apology.

Questions people ask before ordering

Can I have a different image on each side?

Yes, and it costs the same as printing one image twice. Two photos, or a photo on one side and a message on the other.

Will it survive being slept on?

The printing will. Dye based ink is driven into the fibre rather than laid on top of it, so there is no surface layer to crack at the folds. The insert compresses over time the way any polyester fibre insert does, which is why the cover unzips and the insert is replaceable.

Is one pillow a real order?

Yes. There is no minimum quantity and no pricing tier you need to reach. Most orders here are exactly one.

What if I do not like the preview?

You say so and we redo it. Payment is taken after approval, not before, so the worst case is that you have spent ten minutes and nothing else.
